Part 1: Eric was the first to ask the important question for adding LEDs to your 3d prints, “What should we add for tolerance?” I said “Nothing”.
And I was wrong.
Example: the green LED measured out at 4.6mm for the small diameter and 5.4mm for the base. I changed the measurements to 5.1mm and 6.1mm to get a good fit. I should have thought first.
Part 2: Intro to SculptGL – 3d sculpting tool. We will learn the basics of SculptGL, make a face, import into Tinkercad and add holes for LEDs.
- Click here to visit SculptGL: https://stephaneginier.com/sculptgl/
- We will work together BUT here’s a very solid tutorial for SculptGL.
