today’s CAD/CAM activities:

new skills:
-drawing custom shapes
-using measurement
-using fillet and chamfer

  1. finish and submit your keychain design
  2. choose one of these projects for your next design.  Before you begin your work on this design,
    >draw at least 3 ideas for your design on paper
    >make any necessary measurements.  Measure each dimension TWICE.  Write the measurements down or put them in your phone.
    >make sure that all final designs are your own work.Project choices:

    3d printed phone stand

    3d printed ring
    3d printed bracelet
    3d printed headphone holder/hook

Before you submit your final design for printing, ask Mr. Milstead to review it with you.

Agenda: Computer Lab orientation

  1. login to the computer
  2. go to selfservice.tamdistrict.org and choose a new password If you haven’t already done so.
  3. view your grades online: go to home.tamdistrict.org and use the SAME LOGIN information.  This is where Mr. Varvil and I will post your grades.
  4. navigate to your H: drive using My Computer or Windows Explorer – this is where you should save EVERYTHING that isn’t a Google Doc.  Anything saved on the hard drive of your computer will be erased when the computer is restarted.
  5. IF we have time – class survey.
