Power outage – quiz postponed until next Tuesday.  Do you have your review sheet?

Quiz first: This is a closed note quiz.  Please do not refer to any notes, the Internet or a classmate.

Hi all – sorry I am not with you today.  But I have the next best thing – videos made by me!

Your goal today is to make a 3d printed keychain.  Follow these tutorials below in order to make it happen.  Please mute audio and use closed captions if you don’t have earbuds/headphones.

  1. find an image for your keychain.
  2. convert your image to an SVG
  3. click here for the website to convert your file to SVG
  4. import your image into 123d Design and scale to fit

Once you have completed steps 1 through 4 you can click here to send me your file as an STL.    Click here to send me your file.

Here’s how you convert your file into an STL:
-in 123d Design click on the top left menu, choose Export as 3d, choose STL as the format
-make sure that the file has your last name (like milsteadkeychain.svg).  No name=no 3d print.
