All students (30 minutes): Review feedback and prescription from Mr. Milstead and Mr. Varvil.  Make improvements to golf hole as needed to improve overall project grade.

Split into three groups (rotate after 25 minutes):

group 1 – play and evaluate all golf holes

group 2 – complete online course evaluation and written peer/self evaluation

group 3 – update digital portfolio
-include photos of your build process of your golf hole
-using complete sentences, describe what you learned from this project.
-using complete sentences, describe what you wish you had done differently

Awards – all students (15 minutes)

Thursday:
Mr. Milstead and Mr. Varvil will open the shop and lab for you to work on your golf holes.  We close at 5pm and open to the public at 6pm.  What is done at 5pm is what will be played.

Tuesday after school work time – 3:30-5pm in the Engineering room.

TODAY:
1. Exhibit labels must be done by the end of class on Monday:

-Light Bulb – adjust margin
-Diapers – adjust margin, send as PDF
-Computer – resend with text
-Barbed Wire – not handed in
-Kevlar -did you get your label?
-Flippers for Braille course

2. Take photos and video of your work today that will be used on your portfolio.  Shots should include details of your golf hole construction such as building the obstacles, wiring, circuit building and CAD/CAM products.

Exhibit labels: – description handout

  1. Use Inkscape to build your label.  Copy/paste your headline and five-sentence text from Google Docs into Inkscape.
  2. Depending on your font, sizes between 12 and 16 work well for text, 18 to 22 for headline font.
  3. Your label should be five by seven inches in size.
  4. VERIFY that you have completed the Laser Cutting Checklist
  5. Show Mr. Milstead your completed label when your design is complete.
  6. Make sure that your last name is part of your filemane like this” milsteadexhibitlabel.pdf.
  7. email exhibit label to drakelasercutter@gmail.com as a PDF.
