Welcome to September!

Recap from Tuesday – have you completed all of these tasks?

  1. 3d printed ring – follow the link for details.  Be sure to submit your ring design by the end of class today. Here’s how to submit:

-export your file as an STL
-put your last name in the filename  like “milsteadring.stl”
-put your name in the subject line
-email your ring design as an attachment to -drake3dprinter@gmail.com

2. Portfolio update

Add a new update  to your DaVinci Portfolio.
You will most likely have to add a section/page to your portfolio called “Principles of Technology”.
Under that section add a section/page called CAD/CAM.

On your new CAD/CAM page add the following:
-a picture of your keychain (you can add this later)
The answers to these questions:
1. what have you learned about CAD/CAM and 3d design?
2. now that you have experienced working with CAD/CAM and 3d printing what would you like to design and print for yourself?

Yes?  Ok then we can start working on laser cutting and Inkscape.
