Your final project has two parts:
1. create a 3d model of a product or invention of your own design. This will NOT be 3d printed.
2. will create two advertising images for your 3d design.

What do you turn in on Canvas?
1. 3d design – turn in a screenshot – this design will NOT be 3d printed.
2. Turn in a JPG or PNG file: an 8.5 by 11 inch magazine style ad for your product. See below for requirements.
3. Turn in a JPG or PNG: the image of your choice. Read below for requirements.
Part 1: 3d Design in Tinkercad – this will NOT be 3d printed
You get to create a 3d model of a product or invention of your own design. This can be something that exists now or might in exist in the future.
Instead of designing a single shape (e.g., a cube or sphere), aim to combine at least 5 different shapes or parts in your design. Think about how these parts might fit or function together.
Your design should:
-have a purpose that can be explained
-be your own and original
-have at least five components
-be complex – avoid a product that says, “I created a box”.
Part 2: Advertising in Photoshop
Each of you will make an 8.5 x 11 magazine advertisement that has the following:
-this should show your product or image in it’s natural setting (ring Photoshopped on finger, car on the road, toy car being played with)
-name of your product
-a 2-3 sentence description of your product
-at least six pieces of information about your product
Choice time:
You can choose to make ONE of these- make sure to include text:
-a social media post Photoshopped onto a phone or display
-a billboard design Photoshopped onto an actual billboard scene
-a bus shelter ad Photoshopped onto an actual bus shelter scene
-a shopping cart ad on an actual shopping cart
-advertisement inside a bus, subway or ferry
