Entering progress grades for the non-PowerGrade user
This guide is intended for the teacher who does not use PowerGrade as their gradebook and must enter grades by hand. While this guide refers to R1 grades it is applicable to any grading period.

1. Setup PowerGrade as dictated by your individual site. Click on the appropriate school above.
2. Open a class in PowerGrade.
3. Click into the assignment that you created to hold the grades for this grading period. For example, if this is the R1 grading period look for an assignment called R1 grades.
4. Click into that assignment column and enter a grade on a scale of 0-100. Press enter to go to the next student.
5. Verify that the grades in the appropriate column (R1) are changing. If R1 does not hold the desired grades click here.
6. Repeat the above process for each class.

Your PowerGrade spreadsheet should look like this if you are entering R1 grades.
