3. Together: making a sample ring in Tinkercad.

Sample measurements for our sample ring:
knuckle size: 19.8mm – add 1.5mm in Tinkercad.
magnet thickness: 1.4mm – add .5mm in Tinkercad.
magnet diameter: 5.8mm – add .5mm in Tinkercad.

Now you get to make your own list-based Scratch Program with lots of choice for the user.  It’s the Choose Your Lists assignment.

Today:

1. Take your time and finish up:
   –the Keychain assignment
   –The Cube assignment
   -revise your cube for a second printing if the block doesn’t fit
   -any remaining Photoshop assignments
2. Once you have finished the above, it’s time for 3d Design: Complete The Shape

Today’s plan:

I want to make a combo of the iPhone Pocket and the Yondr pouch.

Period 5:

Together: we we will add a discount feature to your Cash Register program.

Please open your Scratch Point of Sale/Cash Register program. No need to make a copy.

On your own: you get to add a Happy Meal feature on your own. Amazing.

The first McDonalds Happy Meal was launched in the US in 1979.

Period 4:

1. Calipers – let’s measure.  In millimeters.

Today’s agenda – let’s make a Cash Register!
1. we will build a Cash Register Program together in Scratch. If you have worked in retail or food service, you may have used one of these machines.
2. click here to view the assignment that includes sample graphics for your sprites.
3. after we build the program together, you get to add three more sprites to the program.  Then turn in your completed Cash Register on Canvas.

Today:

We are going to take a break from Photoshop and enjoy starting 3d modeling and printing.
