Setting up "Attendance by Meeting"

Art teachers (and others). This PowerGrade feature allows you to take attendance for all students in a given period instead of having to switch through multiple classes. Example: you teach Ceramics 1 and Ceramics 2 during first period. If you choose to activate the "Attendance by Meeting" feature you can view both Ceramics 1 and 2 students in the same attendance window.

1. Open any class in PowerGrade.
2. Click on the Preferences button (it looks like a light switch).
3. You will see the General menu.
4. Look in the lower right hand corner for the "Attendance by Meeting" checkbox.
5. Check the box and click OK.

When you are ready to take attendance for a given class period open any class for that period. All students scheduled for that class period will appear in the attendance window.

Note: using this feature disables the Seating Chart feature. Click here for more information.
