By popular demand it’s the Photoshopped hybrid animal. The gorow (crowilla?) is a great example. Here’s a gallery of more hybrid animals.
Assignment: create two different hybrid animal images in Photoshop
Example:
>create one image of a squirrel/alligator hybrid
>create one image of a dog/gorilla hybrid
Secrets to success:
1. watch the video tutorial below.
2. choose an animal body and animal face that have similar colors or tones. Darks and lights are harder to blend.
3. choose a body and face that are facing roughly the same direction. Like with the gorilla-crow example, it is much easier to blend two profile views than a profile head and a front facing body.
