Hybrid Animal Poster

Remember the Hybrid Animal image that you made back in September?  Click here for the assignment.

Your mission is to create a poster related to one of your Hybrid Animals.

Make your image 11×17 inches (or 17 x 11 inches) and 180 for the resolution.

Pay attention to the design and layout of your poster. Use the example above as a guide or look at this gallery of relevant posters. Click here for a gallery of examples.

Your poster design should include the following:
1. an image of your Hybrid Animal. If you don’t have one, you may choose one from these images.
2. text that indicates the name of your animal.
3. at least three graphic icons/images that give us an idea of any warnings or info we need about your animal.
4. at least four sentences about your animal. These sentences can describe:
-the animal
-where it lives (habitat)
-where it lives on the planet
-why it is dangerous
-why its habitat is in danger
-why it benefits the environment
-what the animal eats
-how you can help this animal
-what to do if you find this animal in the wild

The poster that you create can be one of these these types:

-a conservation poster like “Save the Whales”. Explain why your animal is important and worthy of saving. Describe at least three fictional factors that are impacting its survival.
-a warning poster like the one on the left. Use icons and text to describe the “risks”.
-an informative poster that tells use about your animal. Like where it lives, what it eats, whether it is endangered or not. Give use at least three pieces of information.
