Create Flat Pack Instructions

Now you’ve made the flat pack furniture. The next move is to make assembly instructions in the classic style of the Ikea brand.

You can build this in Photoshop, Canva, or Google Sketch
Why not Google Docs?  I think Google Doc is not great for aligning multiple images.

These instructions should:
have a Swedish name – use English to Swedish translation (keep it school friendly)
be clear
be clean
have numbered steps
follow the Ikea visual aesthetic
use the Futura font
show arrows for placement of nuts and bolts
show tools that are need for assembly
use visual instructions not written instructions

Process:
1. make a copy of your chair design.
2. change the color of your design to white.
3. screenshot the parts that you need for assembly.  You will need to re-arrange the parts to match the assembly steps.
4. use remove.bg to remove the background of images.
5. collect the hardware images needed
6. collect the tool images images
7. place the steps in order on your page
