How to print a seating chart
PowerGrade 4.0 does not have a chart printing option. BUT, with a few extra steps you too can have a paper seating chart. The process differs by operating system. Read on.

Macintosh

1. On a Macintosh, simultaneously hold down SHIFT + COMMAND (Apple) and then
press 4. You be able to select the area of the screen you want to capture.
2. This screen shot will be saved as a PICT file on the local hard drive with a name "Picture __." Renaming the file is probably a good idea if you want to save it for future reference.
3. Double-clicking on that file will open it,
probably in SimpleText. You can choose Page Setup under the File menu to adjust the page orientation if needed.

Windows PC

1. Center the seating chart on the screen.
2. On the keyboard, hold down the ALT key and simultaneously press the Print Screen key. This key MAY be abbreviated as Prt Scrn.
3. Open a blank word processing document such as Microsoft Word.
4. Click on Edit and select Paste from the menu.
5. Your seating chart will appear as an image within the document.
