1. Open a class in PowerGrade.
2. Click on the Reports option from the top menu bar.
3. Click on the Create New Reports option and select Attendance
Report from the menu.
4. On the Basic report info tab create a name for your report.
5. Click on the Options tab. Select the items that you want
to have appear.
6. Next to Name and ID indicate the amount of space you want to
devote to each column. While printer type as well as font size/type
can affect this setting 2 inches is a good amount for the Name
column. You may leave the ID width set to the default.
7. The nickname box may be checked if you have entered student
nicknames into PowerGrade. Details here.
8. If you want to have actual attendance shown on the report (VERY
useful) check the appropriate box.
9. Select the Date Range desired. The current week will
provide you with a grid for this week. The coming week will provide
a grid that includes next week. Or you can set your own date range
and print out weeks and weeks of attendance at one time.
10. Leave the Header and Footer options as is.
11. From the Which Students Tab select All students
enrolled in group.
12. You may choose any sort order that is desired although alphabetical
is the most useful.
13. Click on the OK button. Do not click on the Preview
button.
Now go on to Previewing
Reports or Printing Reports.
