-do not allow students to access PowerGrade at any time for any reason.
-remember to logout of PowerGrade when you are done working with your grades or attendance.
-PowerGrade will "timeout" after a period of inactivity. In other words, if you don't user PowerGrade after about 20 minutes you will find that PowerGrade has logged you out.
-save often. Save often.

1. Locate a school computer that has been configured for PowerGrade. If you need assistance with this task please ask your Ed Tech.

2. Look for the Citrix Program Neighborhood icon. It may be on your computer's desktop or (Windows PC) under the Start->Programs menu. Launch the Citrix Program Neighborhood.

3. Double-click on the PowerGrade icon.

4. Enter your PowerGrade username and password. These are not the same as your school network username and password.

5. Select your PowerGrade datafile from the Open window and click the Open button. The datafile will be labeled with your name.
If this step is skipped and your PowerGrade file opens automatically, no worries.

6. PowerGrade will open. Select the desired class from the Classes menu. Work away.
7. When you are done using PowerGrade, click on File and Save. Then select File and Exit. Close all PowerGrade and Citrix Program Neighborhood windows to insure that you completely logged out of PowerGrade.

To access PowerGrade from outside of the school network (like your house) you must follow the steps found by clicking here. The above steps will not work from home and will drive you crazy with frustration if you try. Trust me. Just click here.
