Accessing PowerGrade for the first time

Each teacher will have to complete 6 steps before accessing their grades via PowerGrade. You will only have to complete this process one time at the beginning of the school year.

IF you are accessing PowerGrade before 8-23-06 you will see the following message:

Click OK and then read the following message:

Yes, you want to continue. Click OK and go on to step 1.

1. Select your datafile from the Open window. Click the button labeled Open. DO NOT click the New button. If you do not see a datafile please contact your site PowerGrade support or Rod Milstead at 458-3482 or rod@rodmilstead.com.
2. When you are confronted with this message please wait 60 seconds for a series of numbers (IP address) to appear in the blank field. If 60 seconds has passed and the number does not appear please enter 10.10.100.236 into the field and click Continue.
3. Select your school from the list. Click OK.
4. Choose the school year. Click OK.
5. Choose your name. Click Continue.
6. Leave the connectivity key field blank (trust me). Click Continue.
7. You are done. Click the OK button and then move on to the Classes menu to view your class list.
