How do I add an assignment to PowerGrade?

Before you complete this step make sure that you have created categories (more info here). It will also be useful to group classes (more info here) before you add an assignment.

1. Connect to Citrix/PowerGrade.
2. Open a class in PowerGrade.
3. Click on Windows and select Assignments OR click on the Assignments button.
3. Select the assignment's category from the drop-down menu. Need to setup a category? Click here.
4. Enter the assignment's Name.
NOTE: do not use the same name for a category and included assignment. If the category and assignment names are the same the assignment name will display as Segment_1.
5. Enter or correct the assignment's abbreviation.
6. Enter the number of points possible. Leave this value as zero if you are creating an extra credit assignment.
